This museum has one of the finest collections of German WWII vehicles in existence. The German war machine depended greatly on tracked vehicles.
If you are a student of WWII, a modeler, or just interested in historic military vehicles this collection of armoured and other tracked vehicles is one you must see.
The huge (almost eight feet tall) painting of Adolph Hitler displayed at the museum is a very unique piece of artwork, created in 1938 by a well know German artist. It is displayed as a symbol of what Nazism meant to the world, and to remind us all that evil such as flourished under his dictatorship must never again prevail.
